The official name of the station is Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji – Hubballi Junction. Platform number 1 at Hubli Junction is the world’s longest railway platform, measuring 1,505 meters long.

    I think you are outdated in 2022, longest railway platform has been updated in March 2021 already and it’s not Gorakhpur platform anymore…it is Hubli railway junction, Karnataka.

    Vijayawada isn’t the largest railway junction (i.e. ignoring terminals or city stations like NDLS) – Gorakhpur for example has 10 platforms and 28 tracks which are more than Vijaywadas tracks
