Vande Bharat:

At present, the fastest train in India is Vande Bharat Express. It achieved a maximum speed of 180km/hr during test drives and runs at a speed of 160km/hr on a commercial basis.

It runs between Varanasi and the capital of India- Delhi. It is also the first among the trains which are completely manufactured in India.

Gatimaan Express:

Being India’s 2nd fastest train, Gatimaan Express connects the junction between New Delhi and Agra.

The train covers this distance within 100 minutes and it has a speed of nearly 160 km/hr.

Bhopal Shatabdi:

The next name on the list of the top ten fastest trains in India is Shatabdi, Bhopal.

The speed of this train is as high as 155 km/hr. It covers the stretch between New Delhi and Agra and connects all major places between this stretch.

Rajdhani Express:
